Sanctuary for the Horses, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Horse Rescue

	ADOPTED SLIVER A gorgous bay 7 year old Thoroughbred mare. She was abandoned at a ranch in Ojai with her yearling colt. It took us several months to finalize the adoption but we were finally able to bring them to the sanctuary in the spring of 2006. The colt was immediately adopted out to a wonderful family. Sliver found her "forever" home with Jackie, in November 2006, pictures to come soon!
	ADOPTED BOOMER This gorgrous colt was abandoned at a ranch in Ojai along with his dam, Sliver. It took us several months to finalize the adoption but we were finally able to bring them to the sanctuary in the spring of 2006.
	ADOPTED FRECKLES a 21 year old appaloosa. He was an ex schooling horse and due to rising veterinarian bills the school decided to donate him to our sanctuary where he remained for many months. He is an amazing trail horse, cute personality and a perfect childs' horse. Freckles was fortunate to find a forever home with Theresa...pictures also coming soon.
	ADOPTED ABBY Bless her heart, she was approximately 9 years old and an Arabian. She had blown a hole in her sinus cavity at a very young age but still given a perfect bill of health from the veterinarians which allowed her to become a competitive endurance horse who successfully competed in many races with much success! Her owners donated her to us in Jan 2005 and she remained with us for almost a year before finding a wonderful loving home in Simi Valley.
